Low Country Chic Market Hall Wedding | Caitie + Lucas
Caitie and Lucas’ Market Hall wedding was held on a perfect Summer’s day in June in downtown Raleigh. Their wedding at Market Hall combined classic styles with southern charm to bring Caitie’s vision of “Low Country Chic” to life.
During our first meeting with Caitie and Lucas, we learned of their love of jazz and their romance across some of the southern states. Having most recently moved to North Carolina, Market Hall was the perfect place to host their families and friends from New Jersey and Kentucky.
We were hired as their Event Management planners and couldn’t wait to help them say “I Do”! Market Hall was the perfect venue to host Caitie and Lucas’ timeless wedding in its setting of cobblestone streets, twinkle lights, and high ceilings. Market Hall offers full service catering and bar including late night bites which guests of Caitie and Lucas enjoyed while dancing the night away to music from the amazing Night Years band!
There were so many special touches to this day that it made it elegant, charming and exciting! Jon Warlick Media created a wonderful video for Caitie and Lucas to treasure forever from their first look, having their friend officiate their ceremony, to being on stage with their band singing along to Pink Pony Club with all of their wedding guests! Market Hall truly was the perfect venue to start Caitie and Lucas’ new chapter.
Caitie and Lucas made use of both the indoor and outdoor spaces throughout their wedding day at Market Hall, which was beautifully captured by their photographer Holly Schumpert. Not only did Holly catch sweet moments of Caitie and Lucas with their families and bridal party but of their guests shucking oysters and sipping martinis during cocktail hour!
Market Hall speaks for itself with its spectacular location and historical building but Caitie and Lucas really highlighted its beauty with their wonderful florists, Mood Fleuriste. Mood Fleuriste made Caitie and Lucas’ “Low Country Chic” happen by using Spanish moss to decorate the fairy lights in Market Hall to really set this wedding apart from others!
Guests may say the best part of the wedding was getting Two Roosters at the end of the night (a local Raleigh favorite ice cream). Other guests might say it was the oysters and martinis during Cocktail Hour. Our favorite part? Listening to the wonderful toasts from Caitie and Lucas’ family and friends! We loved working with Caitie and Lucas throughout the entire planning process and hearing all of the amazing stories from their loved ones showed what a truly wonderful couple they are!
